Monday was the end of the Girls Academy Event in Florida for half of the teams. The 04 and 05 groups were in action on the day. There were a number of high quality games despite some adverse weather conditions.
IMG Academy 04 captured a 1-0 victory over Houston Dash in an early game, which helped IMG claim the top spot in the Showcase 2 Bracket after an undefeated showing at the event. Lonestar SC 05 had an impressive win over Lamorinda SC in the Showcase 1 Bracket B action.
