The new MLS NEXT season kicked off over the weekend.
Things look different for the competition, with MLS shifting its Pro Player Pathway to the Under-16 (2009) age group.
That means that for the bulk of promising talent in that birth year, it’s another opportunity to face MLS opponents as the organizations continue to try and develop professionals.
