Starting since last summer at the Under-15 Concacaf Championships, the top U.S. girls have been preparing for the 2024 Under-17 World Cup cycle.
The next step in preparation continues this week, as 26 players have been called up for camp in Southern California. The camp concludes with a pair of friendlies against Japan.
Several of the players in the age group have already committed to play college soccer; two are full professionals. There’s a big group of players that have been part of previous U.S. setups featuring players born in 2007.
