Regional Rankings Boys 2019 Summer update
Following the release of the IMG Academy Top 150 Boys Soccer Players for the class of 2019 on Monday, TopDrawerSoccer unveiled the regional rankings on Thursday. The regional rankings are a collection of the best players from every corner of the United States. Each region’s list is assembled with the help of coaches and scouts from across the country. The TopDrawerSoccer staff has the final say in the placement and rating and each player.
Boys 2019 Regional Rankings: Southern California | New Jersey | Great Lakes
New York City FC is taking over in the New York regional ranking for the boys class of 2019. The top four players from the region all play for NYCFC. Homegrown signing James Sands is the top player in the nation, and leads the way for the group. Defender Nico Benalcazar is the No. 2 player in the New York region.
Sockers FC midfielder Timothy Bielic moves up the regional rankings in the Midwest region for the boys class of 2019. Sockers are also the dominant group in the region with the top four players in the region.
LA Galaxy Academy’s Ulysses Llanez is the new No. 1 player in the Southern California region for the boys class of 2019. Llanez’s play with the Galaxy U18 team during the run to the appearance in the National Championship game in July helped push him up to the top spot.
The next update for the player rankings will be on Monday with the IMG Academy Top 150 Girls Soccer Players for the class of 2019.
