The TeamRank Top 25 the comprehensive ranking system for elite club soccer teams nationwide, continues updates for the 2017/2018 season with the U18, U17, and U16 boys club soccer teams. We will update our National Top 25 for each age group at least once per month.

For consistency sake, Development Academy teams in the U18/U19 age group are ranked in the U18 age group for the TeamRank Top 25. The Academy teams in the U16/U17 age group are ranked in the U16 age group for TeamRank.

TeamRank Boys U18 Top 25 Club Soccer Teams 

The New York Red Bulls are still the No. 1 team in the TeamRank Top 25 for the U18 age group in the November update. The Red Bulls are 9-0 on the season and boast an impressive plus 35 goal differential. 

Southern California club Pateadores SC is No. 2 in the TeamRank Top 25 for this month. Pats are 8-0 on the season and have only let in three goals. Roger Penske has been the standout in goal for Pateadores during the first two months of the season. 

Real Salt Lake, Philadelphia Union, and Real Colorado round out the top five this month for the U18 age group of the TeamRank. Check out the full top 25 here. 

TeamRank Boys U17 Top 25 Club Soccer Teams 

Tampa Bay United is the No. 1 team in the TeamRank Top 25 for the U17 age group in the November update. Tampa Bay United is 9-1-1 on the season in Boys ECNL play. 

Southern California teams Slammers and West Coast FC are No. 2 and No. 3 in the rankings this month respectively. Slammers are 6-0-2 on the season in Southwest ECNL play. West Coast FC is 5-1-1 in ECNL play this season.

TeamRank Boys U16 Top 25 Club Soccer Teams

FC Dallas is the No. 1 team in the TeamRank Top 25 for the U16 age group in the November update. FC Dallas is 5-0 in the Development Academy so far this season with only three goals conceded. New York Red Bulls and Sockers FC also have perfect records through the first few months of the Development Academy season. 

Real Salt Lake and Seattle Sounders round out the top five. RSL is 5-0-1 on the season. Sounders are 8-0-1 in the Development Academy.

TeamRank is the comprehensive team-ranking system devised by TopDrawerSoccer.com to provide an objective and common-sense approach to determining which elite youth soccer teams are the best in the nation.

The rankings, updated monthly, are primarily results-based, with a nod toward the league and championship competitions that emulate how excellence is determined in leading soccer nations around the world.

Tournaments are also included but at a reduced value due to the many mitigating factors involving such events, including attrition and guest players.

A final layer of executive evaluation is provided to account for variables that often impact results, thus ensuring that the monthly lists are not subjective, but are not purely mechanical.
