The TeamRank Top 25, the comprehensive ranking system for elite club soccer teams nationwide, continues updates for the 2017/2018 season with the U15, U14, and U13 boys club soccer teams. We will update our National Top 25 for each age group at least once per month.

Boys U15 TeamRank Top 25 

FC Dallas is the top team in the TeamRank Top 25 for the boys U15 age group. Dallas is 7-0 in the Development Academy this season. The MLS Academy is the only team with a perfect record from Development Academy play at this point of the season. 

LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounders, New York Red Bulls, and Philadelphia Union round out the top five for the U15 age group. Galaxy is 12-0-1 on the season while Sounders hold a 5-0-3 record. They’re the other two teams with unbeaten records through the first half of the Development Academy campaign.

Boys U14 TeamRank Top 25 

Sockers FC is the top team in the TeamRank Top 25 for the U14 boys club soccer teams ranking. The Illinois club dominated the competition in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy though the first half of the season. Wyatt Borso is the leading scorer for the team with 18 goals in 15 games. Defender Ryan Quintos is the only player to start every game for Sockers. 

New York Red Bulls is the No. 2 team in the TeamRank Top 25 for the U14 boys age group. Forward Simon Adjakple is the leading scorer for Red Bulls with 14 goals in 13 games. Midfielder John Carlos Cortez is the only player to start every game for Red Bulls. 

LAFC is the No. 3 team in the TeamRank Top 25 for the U14 boys age group. LAFC is 11-1 on the season in the Development Academy. Dylan Presto and Antonio Leone have started every game this season for LAFC. Kevin Jimenez leads the team in scoring with 10 goals from 12 games. 

 

Boys U13 TeamRank Top 25

LAFC is the top team in the U13 boys age group for the TeamRank Top 25 update for the month of December. LAFC is 12-0 on the season. Robert Willcot is the leading scorer with 18 goals this season. Diego Rosales is the only player to start every game for LAFC. 

New York Red Bulls is the No. 2 team in the U13 boys age group for the TeamRankTop 25 for the December update. Red Bulls are 12-1-1 on the season in the Development Academy. Luciano Sanchez is the leading scorer with 14 goals this season. Andrew Barclay is the only player to start every game this season for Red Bulls. 

Atlanta United is the No. 3 team in the U13 boys age group for the TeamRank Top 25 for the December update. Jonathan Villal is the leading scorer for Atlanta United with 20 goals this season. Atlanta United is 14-1 this season in the Development Academy. 

 

TeamRank is the comprehensive team-ranking system devised by TopDrawerSoccer.com to provide an objective and common-sense approach to determining which elite youth soccer teams are the best in the nation.

The rankings, updated monthly, are primarily results-based, with a nod toward the league and championship competitions that emulate how excellence is determined in leading soccer nations around the world.

Tournaments are also included but at a reduced value due to the many mitigating factors involving such events, including attrition and guest players.
