MORE COVERAGE: Day 1 Recap
Here is a look at the top talent TopDrawerSoccer.com saw at Saturday’s id² Training Camp for boys and girls born in 2001 and 2001. The listing is in no particular order.
D D’Anthony Brown, Orlando City SC: D’Anthony Brown stood out immediately, and not because of his large hair. Minutes into our first look at him, he hit a 40 yard ball to change fields and switch the point of attack. Brown, a central defender, kept his back four organized, calm, cool and collected throughout the game. His ability to distribute under pressure and move the ball around the field effectively was key to his team’s 3-0 win on Saturday afternoon.
MF Jeffrey Depaz Donis, Triangle United SA: Despite losing 3-0 in the first game on Saturday, Depaz Donis was very good on the ball. His technical skills were well above what one would expect for his age. What he lacks in size, he makes up for quickness and speed.
