The event will be held in accordance with U.S. Soccer’s comprehensive Return to Play protocols. U.S. Soccer is requiring all staff and players be fully vaccinated in order to attend YNT training camps. As a leader in the sport, the health and safety of all participants is the top priority for the Federation.

Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2007 are age-eligible for the U-15 MYNT this year. The 36-player roster is made up of 35 players born in 2007 and one born in 2008 – Charlotte FC forward Nimfasha Berchimas. Sixteen players return from the U-15s’ January training camp.

Heinneman joins U.S. Soccer with a diverse array of experience coaching, playing and working at the game in various levels in the United States. Most recently, he served as an assistant coach at Nashville’s Belmont University, helping the Bruins to their most wins in program history this fall while also working as a coach with the Tennessee Soccer Club and academy director at Covenant Soccer Academy. He holds a U.S. Soccer “A” License and spent 10 years as a professional player across Major League Soccer, the North American Soccer League, United Soccer League and USSF Division 2.

Many players called to camp were involved in BioSteel YNT Regional Identification Centers last spring, one-day training sessions that bring together top players in their home regions. Eighteen clubs are represented on the roster, including 16 Major League Soccer academies. Six players come from LAFC and four from the Philadelphia Union, along with three players each from FC Dallas, LA Galaxy, the San Jose Earthquakes and Real Salt Lake.

With the launch of U.S. Soccer’s YNT U-14 Talent ID program in 2019, the U-15 USMNT cycle lasts only one year. The biannual Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship is next set to be contested in 2023.
