The U.S. Under-15 Women’s Youth National Team will hold a 24-player training camp at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., running from April 21-26. It will be the first event of this year for this age group which will be participating in the 2024 Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship in August.
Twenty-three of players were born in 2009 with forward Mak Whitham the only player born in 2010.
The 24 players come from 18 different youth clubs and 12 different states. Eight players are from California, five from Northern and three from Southern. Defender Jorden Swain won’t have to travel far. She hails from Chula Vista. Two other players – defender Alessia Mirhashemi and forward Felicity Nguyen – hail from the San Diego area.
