The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team begins it Concacaf Championship journey this weekend, as the tournament kicks off this weekend. Spots at the U17 World Cup in Peru are up for grabs, not to mention regional bragging rights.

The U.S. has made inroads in going up against Mexico, but hasn’t won the tournament since 2011. That’s the secondary goal here, as at least reaching the semifinals is the first hurdle to clear (that qualifies the team for the World Cup out of Concacaf).
