U17 MNT roster announced for trip to Mexico
U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team head coach John Hackworth named a 20-player roster to compete in the 2016 Torneo de Naciones, set to take place Aug. 22-29, in Mexico City, Mexico.
The USA will face Portugal on Aug. 25, Qatar on Aug. 26, and finish the tournament against Mexico on Aug. 28.
The roster is made up of 20 players who recently trained in Utah, playing against Utah Valley University and RSL Monarchs.
This will be the second tournament of the summer after the U-17’s made it to the title match in the 2016 AIFF Youth Cup in India last May.
