U.S. Soccer finalizes roster for U17 Residency Program

U.S. U17 Men’s National Team coach Wilmer Cabrera announced the 40 players chosen to participate in U.S. Soccer’s U17 Men’s National Team Residency Program.
The team will receive hands on training at IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida, and build toward the 2009 FIFA U17 World Cup from Oct. 24-Nov. 16 in Nigeria.
The team won all three of its matches in April at the 2009 CONCACAF U17 championships in Tijuana, Mexico before the event was canceled due to Swine Flu concerns. Jack McInerney led the way with five goals and is returning for his fifth semester in residency along with Andrew Craven, Marlon Duran, Zachary Herold, Stefan Jerome, Perry Kitchen, Carlos Martinez, Emilio Orozco, Tyler Polak and Jared Watts.
