Williams calls in 44 for U15 BNT camp
The U.S. U15 Boys National Team is headed to Carson, California next week for one of its final events before the Residency Program roster is decided for the 2015 U17 World Cup cycle.
U17 Men’s National Team head coach Richie Williams called in 44 players for the weeklong camp at the StubHub Center. Williams is expected to whittle down the roster during the camp to determine the 32 players for the Residency Program, which begins its next semester in late August.
Two players from the 1999 age group were called into this camp – Edwin Lara and Tyler Adams. Lara, a left back, and Adams, a center back, are vying for spots at Residency as well as a place on the squad that is headed to Mexico next month for an international tournament.
The U.S. will take on Brazil, Uruguay, and Panama at the tournament in Mexico, which kicks off on August 10.
