First-Half Uprising Lifts Bowling Green, 3-1

The Bowling Green State University men's soccer team exploded for three goals in a span of just over 17 minutes, rallying from an early deficit for a 3-1 win over Northern Illinois University Saturday night (Oct. 28). The Mid-American Conference match was held at Cochrane Stadium.
On Senior Night, senior Alexis Souahy scored what proved to be the winning goal, while junior Tate Robertson and sophomore Chris Brennan also found the back of the net.

The Huskies took the lead on a Christian Molina goal in the 14th minute of the match, and NIU goalkeeper Konrad Dziedzic saved a penalty kick just over eight minutes later to keep his team in the lead. But, Robertson – who was stopped on that PK try – scored the tying goal in the 27th minute, and Souahy gave the Falcons the lead for good just under four minutes later.
Brennan scored his team-leading fifth goal of the season with just 52 seconds left in the half.
