Five men's college coaches to watch in 2017
Whether they get attention from the pro ranks or not, the men’s college soccer coaching fraternity has gradually developed into a fertile breeding ground for high-end coaching experimentation. There are a number of intriguing coaches plying their trade on college sidelines nowadays doing mighty interesting things.
We all know about the likes of Akron’s Jared Embick, Wake Forest’s Bobby Muuss and Stanford guru Jeremy Gunn, who coaxed back-to-back national championships in 2015 and 2016 out of two wildly different Cardinal rosters. But what about the next tier, the guys doing meaningful work perhaps a bit more quietly in national terms? Who might those coaches be?
