Goals of the Week: September 7-14
By the time Max Rogers received the ball 30 yards from goal, he'd already put two shots on target. Neither had found the net, the Yale midfielder left frustrated. But with his team tied 1-1 at West Virginia — and less than three minutes remaining — he decided to have a go for the third time. The result was a shot driven into the top corner, zipping past a helpless goalkeeper. It was a goal worthy of winning any match, especially an upset over top 10 ranked opposition. It's also our goal of the week.
