International recruits to watch in 2015
The recruiting classes for the 2015 men’s college soccer season are still slowly trickling in as the season turns to spring. Through the past couple of months, colleges from across the country have announced recruiting classes that include promising talent from the U.S. as well as some stars from outside the States.
College soccer has definitely benefitted from the recent increase in international recruits with last season’s MAC Hermann Trophy winner and UCLA standout Leo Stolz being the latest example of a player prospering after his arrival from abroad.
Will the 2015 recruiting classes have anyone with the same influence on the college game? TopDrawerSoccer takes a look at some of the possible candidates from the classes announced so far. Keep in mind, more international recruits will be announced closer to the start of the 2015 season.
