The TDS Men's college soccer preview continues with a look into the AEC, Ivy League, ASUN, & CAA.
America East Conference Preview
The America East has a distinguished physical style of play that surpasses the rest of college soccer. With games in some of the coldest parts of the country, playing a team from the AEC is like going to war. And with coach, Marc Hubbard leading New Hampshire, who had only been to one NCAA tournament before he took over in 2015, to now six straight appearances under his watch and routine top-25 appearances, the AEC is well accounted for on the big stage. Then you have Vermont, a program that has raised its standards and reached the NCAA quarterfinals last season for the first time since 1989. Between those two, programs like UMBC and Albany, who occasionally pop in for a big season, plus Bryant hiring Ruben Resendes, one of the best young coaches in the sport, the AEC is an exciting commodity for the new season.
