No. 10 Warhawks Power Way to Opening Win
DULUTH, Minn. – The No. 10 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team used a consistent offensive attack and stout defense to defeat Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) 2-0 Friday on the first day of the Advantage Emblem Cup Tournament at the College of St. Scholastica.
Playing in their first match of the season, the Warhawks (1-0 overall) tired the Gusties with relentless pressure in the first half.
