GAME NOTES
TAMPA, SEPT. 29, 2014 – Following a big road win at UConn, the Bulls are back at Corbett Stadium to begin a three-game homestand on Wednesday night when they host Georgia Southern at 7:30 p.m.
USF opened American Athletic Conference play with its first-ever win against the Huskies last Saturday night as Edwin Moalosi scored the game-winner minutes into overtime to give the Bulls a 1-0 victory.
Georgia Southern comes into the game with a 4-3-0 record but dropped its most recent contest at Jacksonville, 3-0.
Wednesday night’s game will also be the “Fields of Green” themed game for the Bulls as they have team up with the USF Office of Sustainability, who will be collecting e-waste at the match. SCOUTING GEORGIA SOUTHERN
Team Outlook: The Eagles bring a 4-3-0 record into the match, including a 2-1-0 mark on the road. They are currently in their first season as members of the Sun Belt Conference after 22 seasons in the Southern Conference. Georgia Southern is led by a trio of players who all have three goals so far this season in Emmanuel Raji, David Vargas Masis and Jeremy Rector. They are also extremely balanced and have had 10 different players score a goal already this season.
Player to Watch: Jeremy Rector (So.-F)
Rector currently leads the team or is tied for the team lead with eight points, three goals and two assists and was named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team last season.
ALL-TIME SERIES
This will be the eighth ever meeting between the two programs with USF holding a 5-2-0 advantage in the series. The Bulls and Eagles played for seven straight years from 1993-1999 with the Bulls outscoring the Eagles 20-9 over that span. USF won the last meeting back in 1999 by a score of 6-0 in Tampa.

» Charpie was recently named as a candidate for the Senior CLASS Award, one of the top honors in collegiate athletics for any sport.
» Mfeka & Edwin Moalosi were both named to the American Preseason All-Conference Team.
» This year marks the 50th season of USF Men’s Soccer and the Bulls have finished under .500 only twice in that span while posting 27 seasons with double-digit wins.
