ODU Hosts FIU Friday Night
MONARCHS HOST FIU IN REGULAR SEASON HOME FINALE
NORFOLK, VA—The ODU Soccer Monarchs (8-6-1/3-3-1) return home to host the Panthers of Florida International (6-8-1/2-5) Friday night in a Conference USA match at the ODU Soccer Complex. Game time is 7 p.m. and tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for faculty staff, military, youth and senior citizens.
Follow all the action with livestreaming on Monarch Media with ODU Director of Broadcasting Ted Alexander providing the play-by-play and former Monarch Harry Gillespie (’10) providing the color.
Promotion: The first 100 students in attendance will receive a free ODU soccer scarf (student entrance).
SENIOR NIGHT: Friday will be the final regular season home game for seniors Nate Foglesong (Fredericksburg, VA.), Skylar Hagan (Argyle, TX.), Sydney Rivera (Hampton, NJ.) and graduate student Christian Schroeer (Petershagen, Germany).
The Series: ODU leads the series, 1-0. The Monarchs beat the Panthers in Miami last year, 1-0.
C-USA HAS FOUR TEAMS IN RPI TOP-40
Charlotte (7), Kentucky (25), New Mexico (35), ODU(38) and UAB (20) rank in the top-40 of this week’s NCAA RPI.

FIU’s Quentin Albrecht is 5th in C-USA with 7 goals 16 total points.
Daniel Gonzalez has five assists which ranks him 3rd in C-USA.

ODU’s Alex Tiesenhausen leads C-USA with 69 saves & 5th with a 1.10 Goals Against Average.
Ryan Condotta leads ODU with nine points on four goals & one assist.

ODU HOSTS THE 2014 C-USA MEN’S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIPS
NORFOLK, VA-- Old Dominion will host the top seven finishers in the regular season standings for 2014 C-USA Men’s Soccer Championship, Nov. 12-16 at the Old Dominion Soccer Complex in Norfolk, Virginia. The Monarchs will play in the 7 p.m. contest in the quarterfinals on Nov. 12 and the semifinals on Nov. 14 should they advance. The championship match will be on Nov. 16 at 2 p.m.
The tournament field will consist of No. 5, Charlotte, No. 13 Kentucky, No. 22 UAB, No. 25 New Mexico, ODU, Marshall and South Carolina.
Tickets for the tournament are: $20 for adult, and $ 10 for youth. Single game tickets are: $10 for adults, $5 for youth, and $3 for groups of 10 or more. Admission is free for all C-USA students with a valid school ID.
