Pro prospects in men's Division I soccer
The approaching men’s Division I college soccer season remains a relevant platform for the aspiring player in the North America. With MLS, USL Championship and the Canadian Premier League offering opportunities for college talent, there are players that can certainly make a next level impression.
When looking at candidates for the 2022 MLS Draft, it’s similar to recent years. There are a handful of players that could make an impact, some who are internationals that face long odds to make a roster, while others may end up in USL or head north of the border.
Then, there’s the factor that even draft-eligible seniors could potentially return for the fall of 2022, should they elect to stretch out their career. Not to mention the uncertainly about eligibility, with the number of draft candidates also having Homegrown status.
Either way, here’s a rundown of some of the top pro prospects to watch in the upcoming college season.
