Last minute friendlies aside, the U.S. U20 Men’s National Team played its final batch of competitive games prior to the World Cup over the past week and a half at the Toulon Tournament.
The last preparations certainly could have gone better, as Tab Ramos’ squad lost three out of four games against strong international opposition.
Turkey and the World Cup will be no easier with the U.S. placed in the supposed Group of Death alongside Ghana, Spain and France. That’s no easy task for the lone youth national team competing at a World Cup this summer.
So what should the expectations be for this side heading into the U20 World Cup in Turkey?
