Women's Team of the Week: Nov. 21
Penn State advances to the elite eight, thanks in large to Player of the Week, Kaitlyn MacBean. The Nittany Lions scored six goals in two games, and the sensational Junior had a hand in five. It started with a goal and assist in a 2-0 win over Santa Clara, then cumulates in two goals, one assist performance as Penn State defeated Saint Louis in a 4-3 thriller. With the Minnesota native in this form, Penn State will feel confident in its championship odds.

GK Cristina Roque, Florida State – The Seminoles keeper was busier than usual this week as she kept two clean sheets, first making a season-high five saves against Texas A&M, then adding another three against Texas.
D Maycee Bell, North Carolina – The Grad Senior was in fine form this week, playing all 180 minutes as the Tar Heels kept Alabama and Texas Tech without a shot on target.
D Jordan Zade, Nebraska – The Sophomore managed an assist against Tennessee, then started as the Cornhuskers shut out UC Irvine to move on to the elite eight.
D Elise Evans, Stanford – Evans was timely as she scored the lone goal as Stanford shut out Mississippi State a couple of days after doing the same to South Carolina.
M Ellie Coffield, Pittsburgh – In clutch form, Coffield scored two late goals to send Pittsburgh past Arkansas before playing 90 minutes in a 3-0 defeat of Memphis.
M Hannah Larson, Saint Louis – Saint Louis may be out of the tournament, but Larson went out swinging as she scored in a 2-1 victory over Georgetown before scoring twice in an eventual 3-4 loss at Penn State.
M Megan Bornkamp, Clemson – The talented Senior scored twice and assisted once as the Tigers defeated Columbia and Georgia.
M Annabella Folino, BYU – Folino earns her spot with a game-winner against USC and 75 minutes played as the Cougars defeated Michigan State.
F Kaitlyn MacBean, Penn State – The Player of the Week contributed to five goals.
F Brecken Mozingo, BYU – After upsetting the lone goal against USC, Mozingo took her play to another level with two goals and an assist to lead a 3-1 comeback victory past Michigan State.
F Jordynn Dudley, Florida State – The Freshman continues her stellar season with a goal against Texas A&M, then an assist and another goal versus Texas.
