HS: State, region rankings, March 19
Four boys and two girls spring-playing states have new No. 1 teams this week as some familiar faces return to the top.
On the boys side, a pair of defending state champs are back at No. 1 as Creighton Prep (Neb.) and McCallie School (Tenn.) rise to the top. Also, past state No. 1s, Pasco (Wash.) and Laramie (Wyo.) also move up. McCallie and Pasco earned their way to the top with multi-goal wins over last week's sate No. 1 teams.
The only changes atop the girls state rankings occurred in Alabama and Oklahoma as McGill-Toolen (Ala.) and Broken Arrow (Okla.) take over the No. 1 positions.
For the winter season, most of Texas was idle last week leaving no movement in the rankings.
