HS: TeamSnap Boys All-America update
More than 650 fall- and winter-playing high school boys players made the cut for the Fall TeamSnap All-America Watch List, Winter TeamSnap All-America Watch List and the Spring TeamSnap All-America Watch List.
Players, through coaches recommendations and TopDrawerSoccer staff observations, will be added each week to the list as performances warrant. The only players that will be removed from the list will be athletes who are no longer playing high school soccer or sustain a season-ending injury that will take them out of all-state consideration.
The TeamSnap All-America teams are not announced until the end of the school year.

BOYS
* D Diego Caballero, Hueneme (Oxnard, Calif.), Jr.: Recently named the Cal South Male Youth Player of the Year, Caballero's good fortune has spilled over into the high school game. The 6-foot-2 defender has Hueneme in the section semifinals this week.
* F Spencer Hoyle, Folsom (Calif.), Sr.: The senior midfielder leads the team in goals (18) and assists (9) as Folsom has rolled up a 20-0 season, heading into this week's section semifinals.
* F Bryan Ibarra, Godinez (Santa Ana, Calif.), Sr.: Ibarra is making quite a case for OCVarsity's Player of the Year. The senior striker is up to 31 goals on the season and has led Godinez into the section semifinals.
* Franco Perez, [Daytona Seabreeze fl-m] (Daytona, Fla.), Jr.: Perez, whose father played professionally in Uruquay, scored 23 goals to lead Seabreeze to a Florida state title. Perez had one goal and set up the other, an own goal, with a throw-in that was misplayed by the defense in Seabreeze's 2-0 state final win.
* MF Diego Sordelli, Strake Jesuit (Houston, Texas), Sr.: Sordelli netted four goals last week to keep Strake Jesuit undefeated and ranked among the SIMA FAB 50 Top 5 heading into the stretch run of district play.
NOTE: The fall All-America watch list includes only players from high school teams that compete during the fall season. The inaugural Winter All-America watch list was released in November and includes players from the seven winter-playing states, and the inaugural Spring All-America watch list was released in February.
