HS: TeamSnap Boys All-America update
More than 650 fall- and winter-playing high school boys players made the cut for the Fall TeamSnap All-America Watch List, Winter TeamSnap All-America Watch List and the Spring TeamSnap All-America Watch List.
Players, through coaches recommendations and TopDrawerSoccer staff observations, will be added each week to the list as performances warrant. The only players that will be removed from the list will be athletes who are no longer playing high school soccer or sustain a season-ending injury that will take them out of all-state consideration.
The TeamSnap All-America teams are not announced until the end of the school year.

BOYS
* F Matheus Maia, Baylor School (Chattanooga, Tenn.), Jr.: Maia scored three goals last week, leading nationally ranked Baylor to a pair of victories.
* F Charlie Marino, Wando (Mount Pleasant, S.C.), Jr.: Marino was named MVP of the Nike Palmetto Cup after scoring the game-winner in Wando's 1-0 victory over Clover (S.C.). The goal was Marino's 20th of the season, 40th of his career as Wando, ranked No. 1 in the SIMA FAB 50 spring rankings, improved to 17-0. Marino scored six goals in the five-game event and had at least one score in every match.
* GK Luke Ostrander, [Jesuit College Prep tx-m] (Dallas, Texas), Sr.: Ostrander was a fitting MVP as Dallas Jesuit won the Texas 6A state final despite getting outshot in both the semifinals and final. In the final, Ostrander made nine saves in the team's 2-1 overtime victory over Sam Houston (Arlington, Texas). In the semifinals, Ostrander turned away a shot in the penalty kick shootout that changed Dallas Jesuit's fortunes as the team merged with a victory over Juarez-Lincoln (Mission, Texas).
* MF Sebastian Restrepo, [Sunlake fl-m] (Land O'Lakes, Fla.), Sr.: Restrepo was named the North Suncoast Player of the Year by the Tampa Bay Times after dishing out a mind-blowing 56 assists. He plays on a Sunlake team that is known for high-powered offenses, which included a pair of 40-plus goal scorers this year. Restrepo has one offer at this point, and is awaiting to see if any others surface before making a college decision.
* MF Cody Sedatole, Wakeland (Frisco, Texas), Sr.: Sedatole was named MVP of the Texas 5A state final as Wakeland defeated Waller 2-0. Sedatole scored the second goal. He was part of a senior class that made three state tournament appearances, losing in shootouts in the 2014 semifinals and last year's state final before winning in 2017.
NOTE: The fall All-America watch list includes only players from high school teams that compete during the fall season. The inaugural Winter All-America watch list was released in November and includes players from the seven winter-playing states, and the inaugural Spring All-America watch list was released in February.
