HS: Winter FAB 50 rankings, Feb. 6
The top of the FAB 50 boys rankings should start to come into focus this week as No. 2 Brophy Prep (Phoenix, Ariz.) and No. 9 Chandler (Ariz.) wrap up their seasons in the Arizona state tournament.
No. 3 Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) is already finished and can only move up in the rankings from this point forward. Also, two of the Top 10-ranked California teams will finish regular season play, as well.
McKinney Boyd (McKinney, Texas) remains No. 1 despite a recent tie. Unlike the other national title contenders, Boyd has only one blemish on its record and upwards of 16 matches yet to play to see if the Broncos can hold that ranking.
On the girls side, Florida had the week off, leaving top-ranked St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park, Fla.) and No. 2 Oviedo (Fla.) in the same spots for the third straight week.
