The fall season includes the following states: California (fall), Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (private), West Virginia, Wisconsin. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Season Complete. New Jersey Prep A state champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 650 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Anderson Asiedu scored the lone goal as St. Benedict's Prep defeated Peddie School 1-0 to claim its 26th straight state title. Asiedu, one of the nation's top prospects -- rated No. 37 in the IMG 150 for the Class of 2015, is one of likely six NCAA Division I signees on this year's St. Benedict's squad. John Antunues and Zach Pereira have committed to Monmouth, Wilber Nunez has committed to Seton Hall. Asiedu has offers from North Carolina, UCLA, Saint Louis and Monmouth, among others. The Gray Bees defeated teams from eight states this year and outscored the opposition 77-8.

Jesuit Carmichael, CA 24-1-1
Diego Buesrostro scored five goals last week as Jesuit cruised to wins over Woodcreek and Bella Vista in the section Round of 16 and quarterfinals, respectively.

Appoquinimink Middletown, DE 16-0-0
Appoquinimink scored a goal in each half to get past Sussex Tech 2-0 in the state quarterfinals. The result sets up a state semifinal match against perennial state power Salesianum. Appoquinimink won the earlier meeting between the programs 2-0.

Canton Canton, MI 24-0-3
Season Complete. Michigan Division 1 state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,100 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Jason Ren netted the lone goal as Canton capped an undefeated season with a 1-0 state final win over Rochester Adams in windy, 34-degree weather. The teams had tied 1-1 late in the regular season. Canton keeper Andrew Loehnis recorded his 16th shutout of the season as Canton claimed the school's second state title, both under head coach Mark Zemanski.

Chaminade Creve Coeur, MO 24-2-1
Kenny Massa had a goal and one assist while Ryan Ebert delivered the knockout punch with a 51st minute score as Chaminade defeated Mehlville 3-1 in the Class 4 state quarterfinals. Through postseason, Chaminade avenged one defeat and will get a chance at the other when its faces defending state champion and fellow Missouri power Rockhurst Jesuit in the state semifinals. A state title for this private school power likely will push the Red Devils even higher in the FAB 50.

Season Complete. Colorado Class 4A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,400 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: David Louthan and James Sims converted penalty kicks in the second half as Air Academy capped a perfect season with a 2-0 win over The Classical Academy in the state final. Both penalty kicks were drawn by the team's leading scorer, Austin Dewing, who was named MVP for the title match. Air Academy outscored its opponents 102-5 playing in the middle of the state's three classification brackets. Air Academy's key regular-season win was a 2-1 decision over Pine Creek, which reached the Class 5A state quarterfinals. Dewing ended the season with 34 goals and 22 assists.

Granite Bay Granite Bay, CA 19-1-0
Hunter Loomis scored four goals last week as Granite Bay defeated Gregori and Franklin to reach this week's section semifinals. Next up is a clash with regionally ranked Davis, and the winner likely could face Jesuit for the section final.

Commack Commack, NY 19-1-1
Connor Gill's second-half goal lifted Commack to a 1-0 win over MacArthur in a battle of top teams in the Long Island Class AA final. The win sends Commack into this week's state semifinals.

Milwaukee Marquette Milwaukee, WI 23-1-2
Season Complete. Wisconsin Division 1 state champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 1,085 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Ted Bieser scored the first two goals as Milwaukee Marquette rolled to a 4-1 win over conference rival Menomonee Falls in the state final. The result marked Marquette's 10th state title since joining the WIAA in 2000. The last five titles have come under head coach Steve Lawrence. Marquette outshot Menomonee Falls 25-5. Marquette's lone loss in 2014 was to Chaminade (Mo.).

St. Ignatius Cleveland, OH 20-2-1
Season Complete. Ohio Division I state champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 1,450 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Junior John Duldner scored both goals as St. Ignatius defeated Olentangy Liberty 2-1 for the program's sixth state title in the last 11 seasons. Senior keeper Mikal Outcalt, a Pitt commit who named to first-team Division I all-state and selected for the High School All-American Game, made a crucial save if the first half to keep the match scoreless. St. Ignatius split its matches with Copley and pinned the only defeats on FAB 50-ranked Olentangy Liberty this season.

Washington Township Sewell, NJ 22-1-0
St. Joseph's commit Derek MacKinnon scored in overtime to lift Washington Township to a 3-2 win over rival Cherokee in the Coaches Cup final. Fellow St. Joseph's commit Lou Vilotti had a goal and two assists. Washington Township has handed Cherokee all three of its defeats in a 19-3-1 season, and the teams were scheduled to play Monday in the playoffs.

Copley Copley, OH 20-1-1
Season Complete. Ohio Division I state semifinalist.
School Facts: Public, all-boys, 1,085 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Copley's season ended with a 1-0 loss to St. Ignatius in the state semifinals. Copley defeated St. Ignatius 2-0 during the regular season. The senior-heavy Copley squad outscored its opponents 88-13 and keys wins included pinning the only defeat on regionally ranked Avon. Junior forward Christopher Brennan was named Mr. Soccer for Ohio and the state's Division I Player of the Year. Senior Harter Skye was named to the Division I all-state first team. David Antal was named the state's large school coach of the year.

Christian Brothers Sacramento, CA 16-1-4
Kristian Heptner's three-goal effort in the section quarterfinals gave the UC Davis-bound forward 41 goals on the season. Christian Brothers will compete in the section semifinals this week.

River Hill Clarksville, MD 17-0-1
Michael Heitzmann's goal lifted River Hill to a 1-0 victory over C.M. Wright in the Maryland Class 3A state semifinals. River Hill will meet FAB 50-ranked and 18-0 Huntingtown in this week's state final.

Olathe East Olathe, KS 20-1-0
Season Complete. Kansas Class 6A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,300 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Shane Kopplin and Mark Vanlandingham scored the goals to stake Olathe East to a 2-0 lead before the team held on for a 2-1 win over FAB 50-ranked Washburn Rural in the state final. The win marked Olathe East's third state title, each coming nine years apart -- 1996, 2005, 2014.

DeMatha Catholic Hyattsville, MD 15-1-4
Season Complete. Washington Catholic Athletic Conference champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 1,000 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Freshman Justin Gielen headed home the winning goal in overtime as DeMatha won a second straight WCAC crown with a 2-1 decision over Bishop O'Connell (Va.). Senior James Gielen scored the Stags' other goal. High Point commit Keegan Meyer recorded the victory in goal to cap a season where the team allowed only six goals and posted 15 shutouts. DeMath's lone loss was to Prep School power South Kent School (Conn.).

Wheaton Academy West Chicago, IL 25-1-1
Season Complete. Illinois Class 2A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 650 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Lucas Hoepner and Reid Culberson each scored twice as Wheaton Academy routed St. Joseph 5-1 in the state final. Ty Seager, who ended the year with 39 goals, scored three in the team's 4-0 state semifinal victory. The win marked the first state title for Wheaton Academy, which placed fourth the two previous seasons. Wheaton Academy is 68-14-2 over the past three seasons.

Haverford School Haverford, PA 15-2-2
Talented juniors Connor Gregory and twins Conor and Shane Bradley lead Haverford School into this week's independent school state tournament. This event features three teams with high national rankings — Haverford School in the SIMA FAB 50 and Hill School and Mercersburg Academy in the Prep Top 10.

Season Complete. Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 1,000 students, grades 6-12.
NOTES: Ryan Conrad, the nation's top lacrosse prospect who committed to the University of Virginia three years ago, scored both goals as Loyola stunned top-seeded McDonogh 2-0 in the conference final. Loyola lost both regular-season meetings to McDonogh, but the second one happened while Penn commit Gavin Barger missed the match while training with the US Under-18 National Team. Barger also missed the team's early season loss to Haverford School (Pa.). Loyola's lineup featured three players from the Baltimore Celtic Under-16 club team that won the US Youth Soccer national title over the summer. Senior Riley Collins has committed to UMBC. Junior midfielder Grant Robinson is a top prospect for 2016.

Season Complete. Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference runner-up.
School Facts: Private, 1,300 students, grades K-12.
NOTES: McDonogh's bid for a second straight SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 finish was denied in a 2-0 setback to Loyola in the conference final. McDonogh beat Loyola twice during the season. McDonogh's lineup features Maryland commit Connor Smith and national recruits Tunde Akinlosotu, Michael DeShields and Eremuse Momoh. Six members of McDonogh's starting lineup played for Baltimore Celtic's national title-winning club team during the summer.

St. Thomas Aquinas Overland Park, KS 19-2-0
Season Complete. Kansas Class 5A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 965 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Lasse Nilsen and Luke Kutey both scored twice as St. Thomas Aquinas rolled to a 6-0 state final win over J.C. Harmon, marking the program's second straight title, 10th in the past 12 years and 16 overall since the school opened in 1988.

Hinsdale Central Hinsdale, IL 19-4-4
Season Complete. Illinois Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Will McGowen delivered the match-winning goal with eight minutes left as Hinsdale Central defeated Normal Community 1-0 in the state final. Hinsdale Central started the season in the SIMA FAB 50 Top 10, but a rough start bounced it from the rankings for most of the season. However, the postseason run justified a leap back into the Top 25 as Hinsdale knocked off previous Top 10 Morton and undefeated Normal Community on its way to the program's second state title, the other coming in 1975. Hinsdale Central keeper Wes Bergevin has been selected for the High School All-American Game. Senior defender Evan Floersch was named to the all-state squad. Bergevin, senior Jack Baderman and junior Bryan Loebig were named to the all-section team.

Normal Community Normal, IL 23-1-2
Season Complete. Illinois Class 3A state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,950 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Normal Community's undefeated run ended with a 1-0 loss to Hinsdale Central in the state final. Normal twice beat 2013 state champion Edwardsville en route to the program's best-ever state finish. Forward Eddie Plesha, goalkeeper Josh Millmore and defender Connor Oltman were named to the Illinois all-state team. Mason Maier earned all-section honors. All four are seniors.

Cicero Morton Cicero, IL 23-2-2
Season Complete. Illinois Class 3A sectional runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 6,800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Morton, although two schools yet compete together as one in athletics, spent most of the 2014 season ranked among the nation's elite. Morton's season ended with a 3-2 loss to eventual state champion Hinsdale Central. Morton won a regular-season contest between the Illinois powers 3-0. Senior keeper Ian Chacon and senior midfielder Mario Romero were named to the all-state team. Senior midfielder Edgar Garcia was an all-section pick.

Guerin Catholic Noblesville, IN 22-2-0
Season Complete. Indiana Class 1A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 750 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Luke Bestard, who scored at least one goal in the team's last 10 matches, scored twice in the state final as Guerin Catholic defeated Tri-West Hendricks. Although Guerin won the small-school state title, it posted 2-0 wins over Avon, which spent much of the year in the Top 15, and Brebuef Jesuit, which won Indiana's large-school state title.
