One of the nation’s premier soccer clubs is back with one of the premier events in the Midwest and beyond.

Carmel United is hosting the ninth annual Crossroads of America College Showcase, a soccer extravaganza that gathers the country’s best clubs for a couple weeks of elite soccer and college preparation.

The top college programs in the country will be on hand at the expansive Carmel Clay Community Soccer Complex , where both boys and girls will take center stage.

The Men’s Showcase kicks off April 15-17 while the Women’s Showcase follows on April 29-May 1.

Over the past eight years, this event has grown to include international clubs, enhancing both the level of play and exposure of the showcase.

“The ultimate goal for us has always been to provide exposure for the players,” said Tournament Director Ralph Richards. “Every year it seems to grow, and we have more quality teams than ever. It started out as a great event for Midwest clubs competing right in the middle of their season, now it’s on a national level.”

It’s obvious to see why. Carmel United continues to establish itself as one of the premier clubs in player development – look no further than its pair of national championships in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

So it’s only fitting that Carmel would put on a top notch showcase that puts players directly in front of college coaches.
